Meshia Ellis

Administrator 

Meshia Ellis is the administrator and education coordinator for Blackbridge Music Mentorship. A former military public affairs specialist and music mom for more than a decade. She is dedicated to helping aspiring music students connect with supportive and competent teachers and programs to help them achieve their music education goals.

Wade S. Davis (Cello)

Master-Level Mentor (Baroque Cello/Early Music Specialist)

Wade S. Davis brings more than a decade as a baroque cellist and early music specialist to his new role as Blackbridge Chamber Music Director and Master-level Mentor.  Davis holds both a Master's Degree in Baroque Cello Performance and a Graduate Performance Degree in Historical Cello from Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University as a student of John Moran.

Aidyn Ellis-Otovo (Violin)

NextGen Peer Practice Partner

Aidyn is a 15-year old violinist from Washington, DC and a founding member of  Blackbridge Music Mentors. She is also a student member of the Washington Musical Pathways Initiative, the 9th St. String Quartet Intensive, the Friday Morning Music Club, and the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra (CO). Aidyn has also attended Chineke Jr. Residential Program (London), Kinhaven Senior Session, Greenwood Music Camp (Jr.),  Luzerne Music Center (Jr.), and Interlochen Arts Camp (Intermediate).  Aidyn is passionate about music education and loves sharing  knowledge gained through her experiences with her peers.

Addison Ellis-Otovo

NextGen Peer Practice Partner (Viola)

Addison is a 13-year old violist and founding member of Blackbridge Music Mentors.  An aspiring soloist and chamber musician, Addison has attended Ascent Music, the Sphinx Performance Academy, the Meadowmount School of Music, Interlochen Advanced Strings Academy, and Greenwood Music Camp (Jr.) for summer intensive study. Addison's primary music education is with the National Symphony Orchestra's Youth Fellowshp program. Additional enrichment activities include participation in the Peabody Youth Orchestra, the and outreach performances with the Friday Morning Music Club. She previously participated in the 9th Street Quartet's SQI. She sees engagement and community as a vital part of her musical growth and welcomes sessions with both peers and mentors.

Amelia Otovo

Parent Consultant/Advocate

Amelia is a devoted mom and enthusiastic amateur saxophonist with more than ten years of experience in music education. She has effectively managed student musicians, researched various opportunities, and handled applications and logistics related music study. An editor by profession, An editor by profession, Amelia offers essay and appeal editing as well as parent consultations to assist families in navigating their musical journeys.
